The William J. Rish State Recreational Park is a 100-acre sanctuary situated on the scenic St. Joe Peninsula, near Port St. Joe, Florida. Divided by State Road 30-E, the park provides both Gulf and Bay access, making it a unique destination for nature enthusiasts. As Florida’s only fully accessible state park, Rish Park is dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities and their immediate families or guardians.
The work on Rish Park has been ongoing with Bayside improvements, Gulf Side Master Plan and Improvements, Upgrades to Family and Camper Cottages, the addition of boardwalk rest areas, and the replacement and necessary repairs as a result of the damages sustained from Hurricane Michael in 2018.
