The Hammond Design Group, LLC was engaged by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Bureau of Design & Construction Services (FDEP) to design a new beachside bathhouse for a historic property. Our team conducted comprehensive as-built documentation of the existing structure and prepared detailed construction documents for its demolition. We also developed plans for the proposed replacement structure, ensuring alignment with the Bureau’s stringent requirements.

Collaborating closely with FDEP, we worked to meet budgetary constraints and programming needs while preserving the historic character of the park. The new design seamlessly integrates into the park’s historic context.
