This Project is a modification of the Leon County Aviation Unit helicopter hanger. The Hammond Design Group was contracted to remove a previous addition and design a new two-story structure consisting of 2448 square feet of new pilot offices, a conference room, kitchen, and an upstairs emergency living quarters. Upon completion in March of 2010, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held celebrate the transformation of the Leon County Sheriffs Department Aviation Unit.
