Proud Sponsor of “10 Buildings That Changed America” on WFSU-TV

Have you ever thought about the way architecture has influenced our country? When you consider the history of our country do you think about where these moments of change took place? That is exactly what PBS did in the upcoming show, “Ten Buildings that Changed America.”  They explore the buildings that truly changed the way we live, work, and play in our country and the story behind the architecture.

The Ten Buildings that Changed America are:

  1. Virginia State Capitol
  2. Trinity Church
  3. Wainwright Building
  4. Robie House
  5. Highland Park Ford Plant
  6. Southdale Center
  7. Seagram Building
  8. Dulles International Airport
  9. Vanna Venturi House
  10. Walt Disney Concert Hall

As you can see from the list it isn’t the buildings you would normally think of…like the White House, Washington Monument, and more. You can watch the PBS show on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 10pm. We are proud to sponsor this program on the local WFSU-TV channel. Look for our logo during the commercial breaks and afterwards comment here on our blog and tell us which building surprised you the most!
